Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste, and Brandy Clark all received 6 nominations apiece. In the R&B categories, Monét and SZA dominated with nominations for their projects. In addition, Monét’s daughter, Hazel Monét, became the youngest GRAMMY nominee in history at 2 years old for her part on Monét’s track “Hollywood.” Also in the R&B categories are Halle Bailey, nominated for her debut song “Angel”, and Coco Jones, nominated for several awards for her EP What I Didn't Tell You (Deluxe), in addition to Best New Artist. Moving into the rock and alternative genres, boygenius and Lana Del Rey swept the nominations for their albums the record and Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, respectively. Other contenders include Paramore, for their album This Is Why, and the Arctic Monkeys for their album The Car. The pop categories are filled with nominations for megastars Swift, Rodrigo, Cyrus, and Billie Eilish. Swift is the favorite to win with nominations for her album Midnights, but Rodrigo could easily sweep with her album GUTS or Cyrus for her album ENDLESS SUMMER VACATION. Other nominees for the pop categories include Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson, Troye Sivan, and Doja Cat.
